Most folks tend to muse that they know what causes acne. Even though many people believe that Acne is an inflammation of skin pores that results in problems such as blackheads, whiteheads or pimples, primarily in teenagers there is much more to the problem.

There are a number of misconceptions about acne though. Technically acne is commonly known as acne vulgaris. The answer becomes bit complicated once you start explaining the problem. Acne is a disease of the skin, and it has various causes. One of these causes is bacteria in the pores of the skin. The body becomes allergic to this type of bacteria in many ways.

This attracts white blood cells to resist the allergy, and therefore the pores in the skin become blocked. These accumulated oil secretions build up and provide a procreation ground for further bacteria growth. This leads to the formation of pimples. The red bumps on the skin resemble minute boils that fill with a nasty puss. This puss is caused when the body fights the infection of the microorganisms.

Even though there is no perfect cure for the treatment of acne. One can only outgrow it. B However there is a number of things that can be done to minimize the physical effects of the skin disorder. Like you can use Exposed Skin care products.

For a number of years, folks thought that acne was induced by poor hygiene and by eating unhealthy food items. Deep fried foods and chocolates were specially blamed for acne. This was because teenagers generally eat fried foods and chocolate. However that is probably like blaming the messenger for the message. There is no scientific evidence that can link diet to acne.
